Good lord. Teething!

DS is almost 4 months. Usually he's a happy, chilled little guy, barely cries unless he's hungry or tired.

Since yesterday he's been acting really strangely, he's grissly and irritable and is crying and moaning a lot. He cries when I walk away to do things (not usually a problem) and just wants constant play attention. He's also a bit hyper when he's happy - really screeching and laughing at almost anythign!

He has been dribbling a lot, has red cheeks and he's been rubbing his face. I'm suspecting teething. I looked and I can see two white bits below the surface of his gum at the bottom front.

So seriously, whats the best thing to do to help him? I've got bonjella teething gel, dentinox teething gel, a matchstick monkey and other teethers, calpol. Any idea how long it could last?

I feel you, teething can be brutal!
Baby ibuprofen worked well for my little girl, and Ambesol liquid (similar ingredients to teething gel, a bit longer lasting).

She never really went for teethers but friends had success with damp frozen wash cloths and cold carrot sticks to knaw on.

Hopefully the teeth pop soon and you get your happy baby back!

I agree with the previous poster. You can always give nurofen and calpol if needed.
