Urgent help needed - sleep related!

Hoping someone can give me some advice. DD is 18mo and for some reason, for her lunchtime nap, has completely rejected the sleeping bag she's been in since 4 months old. She wanted to cuddle it like a toy instead of putting it on and started banging her head against her cot and screaming blue murder when I put her down.

In the end I just left her to it, but now I'm fretting in the next room about her putting it over her face and suffocating herself. Is this still possible at her age? I KNOW if I go in to remove it she'll wake up as the sound of a pin drop is enough to do that usually. And I'm 35 weeks pregnant so I could use a nap myself about now!

Thanks in advance.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My DD had pillow and toddler duvet from 12 months- she could unzip and get out of sleeping bag, so I gave up. The Nhs advice is that it’s safe from 12 months.

Thanks so much! I thought I probably was being OTT but since she does cartwheels in her sleep I was imagining all kinds of scenarios! I will chill out a bit now Wink
