remeber the kerb drill..how do you teach your kids to cross the road safely?

yes! and i make him watch the old safety videos with the green cross code man and tufty.

Yes we do.
We also sing the Irish Safe Cross Sode song. I still remember it after all these years (I have a very strange memory) and am teaching dd it.

I don't do the left/right thing as such - just say to look both ways and check again, and keep checking when crossing the road. No parked cars, use crossings where available, etc.
