Invisible infrared baby monitors

Anyone know if any invisible infrared baby monitors? Google suggests these exist but I’m not sure where to start.

My 7 month old has always been fascinated by the annoying red lights around the camera on our Tommee Tippee baby monitor but recently it’s going to the point where it’s disruption his sleep as he’ll be too busy staring at it.

I’ve tried turning off the baby monitor at my end but it doesn’t turn the camera in his room off. I have to go into the room and physically switch it on and off at the plug, which obviously also disturbs him.

I want to keep the video monitor for a few reasons, before people tell me to just stop using it, the main one being that my DS is often very quiet when he’a going to sleep/waking up so he can be awake for a good 30 mins without you realising if we only had a sound monitor.

Hey,
I'm not sure how the lights are placed on the tommee tippee ones but we had the same problem with ours seeming to give off quite a bright light so I stuck some black tape over where the lights are and it has worked really well so may be worth a try if you like the camera and set up rather than having to get a new one Smile

Hiya. Thanks, we originally thought it was the orange lights at the bottom and have stuck black tape over them, but we’ve since realised that there is a ring of 6-8 bright red lights around the camera lens (which is how the night vision works). I hadn’t noticed them before because they’re only visible if you look directly at the camera in the dark. They can’t be covered up Sad

We’ve tried moving the camera around the room but basically if the camera can see him, he can see it and the red lights.

Oh no that's annoying!! I guess there isn't much you can do then Sad we have a chimney breast in DDs room so have put the camera in the alcove bit too so it is more out of sight. Hopefully someone may think of a genius idea for u or suggestion on an infrared one (they sound like a good idea!)
