Baby Monitor App Recommendations Please

Hi all,

I'm new here and also a new first time Mama. I'm looking for some help choosing an app to buy for my smartphone. My family is living in a caravan with very limited electricity from a solar panel while we build a house, so traditional mains powered monitors are not an option. Anyone had luck using their smartphone as a monitor (with partner's phone as the listener or vice versa)?

Hiya- we have cloud baby monitor - it's great! You download it from the App Store (£5) on two devices, then set up one as the child's device (monitor) and then one as the parent. Works brilliantly ☺️

Thanks so much for your reply. We don't have any Apple devices, but will see if I can download it for android anyway. Smile

If you’re in a caravan you probably won’t need a baby monitor! They let you know loudly if something is wrong Grin

Haha, good point! We definitely don't need it when we are all inside, but we only have outside loo and I have animals that sometimes need 2 minutes of my attention outside and as soon as I step outside, I can't hear her cry because it's quite windy or a tractor is in next field etc.
