Is this acceptable food for a 9 month old?

1 DD, 9 1/2 months old, still bf and doing blw. Few friends with babies similar ages who seem to have massive portions of food all the time (they post pics on faceache) and I'm worried I'm not feeding enough?

Today she had
brekkie: toast, piece of fruit.
Cooked meal for lunch: something like small amount of chicken, potato, peas and broccoli. (This was at nursery, they said she ate most of it)
Dinner: 1 sausage cut up, 1/3 large carrot, 1/4 avocado, 1/2 a roll and a slice of cheddar. (Most of which ended up on the floor) and a kiddie yoghurt.
Snacks (throughout the day) she had a rice cake, a satsuma and a biscuit.

Is this enough? What do you feed your little ones?

Oh yeah that’s loads!
DD is 2 now, and some days eats far less. Also breastfeeds a couple of times before and after nursery.
Try to think of food over the course of a week, rather than single days. Their appetites vary so much as babies/toddlers, dd ate an astonishing amount yesterday but next to nothing the day before. As long as there’s not too much salt, sugar or bad fats, and they’re growing well.... I’d not worry tbh.

You are offering massive dinner and lunch portions.

The question is, what per day is actually consumed?

yes sounds perfect to me my little boy defiantly at less than that at that age so I think it's plenty

Seems like too much. I take it they’re not eating all that? The friends on facebooks babies won’t be eating all theirs either

Ds is 10.5 months and had

Scrambled egg and toast for breakfast
Jacket potato with butter and beans for lunch
Pesto pasta and cheese for dinner.

Snacks were a mini ambrosia custard pot, apple purée I had left over and a packet of wotsits (was stuck in waiting for Tesco delivery and was all I had Blush )

Still drinking 20-25oz of milk

I did traditional weaning - purées to finger foods to proper meals, so he normally eats everything.

That sounds like a lot of food, the dinner portion especially sounds massive but with BLW I take it some ends up on the floor? Or is that what he’s actually consuming? Either way it’s more than my 11 month old would have so I doubt you’re underfeeding. Ignore the face-ache, the massive portions are probably just for posing as an actual baby size portion doesn’t photograph very well!

I don't know how much is actually eaten at nursery (3 days a week breakfast and lunch there) but as I said in the dinner bit, most of what she eats with me ends up on the floor! She tries everything and will eat all the yoghurt. One friend in particular says hers eats all of it (her 3 meals a day) and her DDs portions are massive. My little one is very small in size in comparison to her peers so was worried it was what i was giving her to eat, but from what you're all saying it sounds like I'm offering her more than enough Smile

Thanks for all the replies!
