so far i have got

15 wraps(small/newborn)

36 prefold pad thingys

and waiting to receive 5 snugglenap systems.

is this enough for a small baby, considering i probaby won't be using them all the time, like when i'm out?

15 wraps!!!???!!! are you made of money? god, i think we managed with 6 wraps between 2 babies!

Don't know what pre-fold pads or snugglenaps are but I have:
4 wraps
18 square terry nappies
3 nappy nippas (alternative to pins)

DD is 6 months and I've found this plenty. I wash every 2 days (more often at the beginning)

I started out using nappy san in a bucket with water but have since learnt about 'dry pailing' ie. no water.

I've got some extra liners but never really needed them. I only use disposables occasionally like for clinic (when she's going to be in and out of it, it's quicker) or if I'm out all day but usually still use terries when I'm out.

Good luck! HTH

oh...too mmany then?

i got 2 starter kits with 4 in for £25 each, but one was short so got sent an extra pack with 3 wraps in and an extra 12 prefold thingy's, then i bought another 5 of mn, and waiting for another 5 off another mnner.

so i don't need anymore then~?

No more wraps needed love, neither do you need more nappies- ahh you will learn- by the time you need the next size up you will be surviving on 4 wraps! Seriously though, the wraps don't need to be changed each time you change the nappy unless they are dirty!

J20BABY · 16/05/2007 15:26

oh dear, well i can always sell them again on mn then, thanks for letting me know

you'll soon realise that the whole nappy thing isn't the minefield you think it is! but beware of nappy mania- you will soon look at pretty fluffy nappies and feel the desperate urge to buy them!! Then you're in trouble!

J20BABY · 16/05/2007 15:35

i know, i've got plain white ones and quite boyish print ones, and i've just found out i'm having a girl, so the next size up will have to be pink

see its started already- wait until you see a pink and purple fluffy bamboo nappy- if you get excited then you need help!!!

J20BABY · 16/05/2007 15:48

i will already, because its inevitable that i will start jumping up and down and screaming with joy
