We are organising a SEN conference and would like to invite parents, children and professionals. This is our first conference, however we hope it will be the first of many!
The event will be held at the wonderful Livity School in SW16 within their main hall which accommodates up to 250 people. It will run from 2.30pm to 6.30pm, with time either side for setting up and clearing away.
This will be a free event to attend for parents, their children, support workers, students, associated professionals and anyone with an interest in the disability field. We are planning to have entertainment (face painter, drama therapist, musician – maybe even a magician!), refreshments, workshops, guest speakers and a raffle.
We have a number of tables available to exhibitors at a very reasonable price as we are really only looking to cover the costs of running the day. (Please note, there will be no cost for charities.) We are hoping this will be a great opportunity for you to promote your organisation and the services you offer! If you are available, we would love to discuss how you could take part in the event and provide you with a table to promote your services.
At this stage we are envisaging around 150 – 200 delegates during the course of the afternoon. Most of our clients’ children have learning difficulties (ASC) or physical disabilities (cerebral palsy). The Livity School is well equipped for wheelchair users as well.
