my son is very difficult to manage, how can i understand if he is suffering emotionally?

Hi OP, can you give us some examples of your son's behaviour?

Do you mean mh problems or perhaps a special educational need? If he's at school have you spoken to the senco?what are his issues and behavioural problems which make things difficult?

he is very nervous and always super stressed and easily getting mad and shouting, at school he is very quite though. I was wondering if there is anything I can do before asking for professional help.

I think he just sounds like a five year old settling in at school and knowing that he is safe to let out his emotions at home

I agree with what @arbrighton said. It’s a big deal starting school and meeting new people.
