PhD confusion

I've just finished my PhD but I'm having a family dispute about what to call myself.
I started under my maiden name and got married halfway through. I changed everything, passport, bank etc to my new name except at uni where I kept my maiden name because I already had publications in that name.
So I'm Dr maiden name but am I Dr married name too? DH says not and that I am Mrs married name even though he gets to use Dr on everything by virtue of never having been daft enough to change names.
Any clever mumsnetters out there with PhD's know the answer?

Bristol University.
Oh, you have to go to Kalamazoo. It's a real laugh. There are some really great sessions and some hilarious ones too. Leeds is a poor imitation, or was....

Bristol is a nice University (and a nice town). I've organised a session in Leeds this year, but will just dip in and out of the conference.

Should really go and write some footnotes, but have been feeling ill all day, so not really in the mood. Don't suppose you know anything about medieval ideas on the heliotrope, do you? [lazy emoticon]

Heliotrope...no sorry. I got a paper published after organising a session at Leeds. What's the overall theme this year?
btw - does the Medieval Religion discussion list still exist? It was set up by good friends of mine (before the internet!)

Not sure about the medieval religion list. I've always been firmly in the 'Italian Studies' area (i.e. teach other - non-medieval - things in Italian), etc. General theme in Leeds is Medieval Cities, which is why I felt I HAD to organise a session, as that was exactly what my PhD was on....

Right...is the congress still being organised by that guy Axel thingameebob? I'm going back a few years now though...
Glad to hear that conference is still thriving.
