Think my sons friend may be bad influence?

I have always loved my sons choice of friends. They would be the kids that I would pick to be his friend! Until now...

his friend was sleeping over and they arrived home over an hour after curfew, and half an hour ater it was dark. when i spoke to my son he said he didnt know the time, but then his friend who was sleeping over started answering back to me, and let it slip that they really knew the time.

one of my sons lovely friends disliked him the first time he met him

tonight they were kicking a ball into a mans garden and kept on going into the garden to get it back. the man came out of his house to shout at them both

my son has also admitted he doesnt like saying no to this particular friend, but he can say no to other friends

worried as his friend answered back to me (rude!) and think he encourages my son to get into mischief

what can i do?

Sorry but I wouldn't tolerate another child being rude to me in my own house.

no i didnt tolerate it at all. But I am worried that he wants to be friends with someone who was rude to me.

he calls for this friend a lot
