DS is constipated help!

He's not been for 3 days but he seems absolutely fine in himself.

He's 13 months, drinks loads and eats loads.

What can I try??

Unless his poo is like hard pellets his not consipiated

Most likely she thinks their hair looks messy and she's embarrassed. Do you want a week free from kids, they go to Kos the land of the gods or have straggly hair. Tell them they need it cut. Get the kids out of the house and laugh about this story. Be free.

Erm mountain what ?

Prunes. Lots!

If that doesn't work, ask the GP about lactulose.

Pear juice?

If he will let you get him to lie in his back and cycle his feet in the air! I used to do this with kids and sing'cycle, cycle, cycle'. I learnt it in our baby massage course.

Also going swimming- allowing him to kick his legs seems to stimulate bowel.

Or a warm bath.

A little bit of vaseline by his anus (TMI ) will mean it does not hurt coming out!!

Fresh pressed orange juice helps too.

Prunes and pears, pear, orange or prune juice (diluted). Water, lots of water.

Ds is constantly getting bunged up. I get the fridge prune packs, heat and mix with pear. And then give him the juice from the bottom of the pack watered down.

Looks like il be funnelling in a lot of juice tomorrow!
