Posted in child health, but no response.

Does anyone have any ideas about this? As a family we are pretty robust and none of us really get I'll. My 5yr old dd was only sick once up to starting school and that was as a result of too much birthday cake at 3.
In the first 2 weeks of school she got sick twice. She has been sick on 2 other occasions since last september, but here is the odd thing. She throws up 2 or 3 times in a half hour period around 2am. At no point is she particularly distressed and once she has vomited she quite happily goes back to sleep. In the morning she is perky and happy, but without much appetite. We stay off the full 48 hours from school, but at no point does she vomit again. Neither me or her dad have ever got sick at these times.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this? I'm not worried, more curious.

How regularly is she doing this OP?

I don't really know the gap between episodes, but it's been a total of 4 times since September with I guess at least a couple of months between.

Impaction in the bowel can cause this type of thing.
