mild rash on tummy under nappy

ds has been in Bumbles (with ME airflow wrap) for nearly 4 months and over the last month or so has had, on and off, a very mild-looking rash under his nappy line at the front. It isn't itchy or raised, just a scattering of pink dots. I haven't changed my detergent (Fairy Non-bio). What do you think it might be? Could he be getting too hot under there?

It sounds like it could be a bit of heat rash. Try to have as much nappy off time as possible.

Thanks. Will do. If he gets that now (when it's not all that hot)... what do I do in the summer? Should I change to a lighter nappy?

I found that sometimes using a nappy without a fleece liner made a difference to heat rash. I used paper liners instead. DS's skin obviously wasn't kept as dry as with fleece, but it didn't seem to bother him.
