My little girl has been invited to a party, i was quite overwhelmed.I'm such an anti-social old bint, i usually sit playing with dd, scowling at other mothers at M&T. DD1 was hardly ever invited to parties etc and i blamed myself as i avoided the whole M&T and school gate covens.

Of course, now i'm faced with the "what to buy a two year old" dilemma. She seems quite a girly wee thing and her mother looks like one of those women who look like bimbo's but are blatantly not (that was meant to sound nice - see, i can barely do complements). So what i am trying to say is mum is very girly too.

Excellent! Colouring/creative stuff is always safe - ELC have nice glittery/girly sets of crayons, stuff like that, which are quite cheap.

Mystic Tombley Predicts :

Much groaning and gnashing of teeth in 6 motnhs time when dd comes home with her 3rd party invitation that week!!

When they are in school it feels like all you ever do is buy pressies and escort them to parties.

i don't care tombley DD1 hardly ever invited, i would be heartbroken when she would come home from school with a face like a smacked arse, i could almost predict the "xyz has a party and im not invited". So, bring it on. Although, im worried that i will now have to have one - arrrrghhhh, im so anti social id rather boil my head
