Advice on baby bottles

Dd2 is due July, I'm planning on bottle feeding her but have a question before i go ahead & buy any bottles.
Dd1 was a colicky baby so thinking will dd2 be too? So would you buy ahead of dd2 anti colic bottles from the start or buy normal bottles & then see how she is when she arrives?

Id buy a couple of what worked with dd1 and see how you get on? Dont buy loads just in case

Yeah I think I might buy 2 pack of anti colic bottles & 2 pack of normal bottles.

I'd recommend mam bottles.

Go for the mam bottles. Don’t bother with the non colic bottles.

I was looking at them at one point but then a few people told me that the one thing bad about them is that they have small air holes in the bottom of them so when your out & make bottles up you can't place the bottles in cold water to cool them down as the cold water would come through. Is that true?

That is true but I always just popped them upside down to warm them up! I honestly
Found them the best

Roaring20s · 30/04/2018 09:50

Or cool them down sorry.

Another vote for mam. Brilliant bottles and means you don’t need a steriliser as well.

Ds was mostly bf but used the MAM bottles for dh!!

If you take the top off the mam bottles they don't suck up water through the holes as there is no longer a vacuum. Top tip I learnt recently!
