Suddenly my baby won't sleep in her cot, help!

Will try not to dripfeed, would just like some advice from the more experienced! DD is 5 months, has been sleeping pretty well since about 10 weeks old, these days normally from approx 7.30/8pm until about 3am when she wakes for a feed. Has always fallen asleep really fast once she's full (I'm breastfeeding) - she's a very contented baby and I barely have to burp her after these nighttime feeds. She's been in her cot for about 2 months and did seem to love it. I sleep in the same room with her. However, this last week she just won't settle at night. She falls asleep on me (as usual), then wakes up and cries when I try to put her in her cot. She IS showing some signs of teething, but even on nights when no teething symptoms are present, she's now taking ages to settle down. It might be relevant that I have tried and failed miserably to get her to nap in her cot during the day. She loves to nap in her buggy instead so I do a lot of walking around! Putting her down 'drowsy' isn't working. 'Shh pat', no dice. Am I being too impatient? Am I confusing her by letting her play in the cot during the day, eg while I have a shower?

Early 6 month sleep regression, putting her down too early or maybe because there is an ‘y’ in day. Babies sleep always changes and sometimes it gets better but some times is gets better.

Thanks for this! I just feel a bit useless at the moment. When the magic boobs/feeding to sleep doesn't work, I'm all at sea! Then during the day I'm so shattered I feel like I'm not engaging with her as much as I should.

Does she need to drop a nap?
Some babies are just harder to put to sleep than others. It doesn’t last forever. Exhaustion is horrid hence it’s easier just to cosleep, build on your bond then fight it imo.
