Me and LO have our 6 week check today at doctors, although I’m completely oblivious to what happens, how long it was take and if I got to take baby’s red book? Anyone had theirs and can help me out please?

Yes, take your red book. You pretty much always need your red book for any appointments. They just went through a check list of questions from the red book, asked if I had any concerns, weighed and measured him, and did a few checks like for hip dysplasia and ears, eyes, etc. We were in and out in probably 10 minutes.

I thought so about the red book just wasn’t sure, can I raise a concern I have about my health? (Nothing worrying just my period is hurting extremely bad and my cramps/tummy are extremely sensitive)

Yes, it is a check for you as well

(and another chance for them to get on at you about contraception)

Are you sure it is your period (already) and not still bleeding after the birth? (are you BF?)
