Birthday Party Ideas for 11 year olds

Would love to hear any suggestions for a birthday party for an 11 year old boy that does not involve video game arcades, laser tag or paintball. Ideas that involve kids using their native creativity and unique, off-the-beaten-path ideas are all welcome!

We have a forest school play near us that hosts amazing looking parties where children learn to make fire etc, something like that?

It would depend on the activity but probably around 8 boys. Budget isn't really an issue.

Id say give him cash b drop him and mates at cinema or bowling without parents so they feel even more grown up lol..my ds suggested go karting lol bless

Another one....We had a camping party for 10 boys in the garden when my DS was 11. They loved it. We had a BBQ and campfire with roasted marshmallows etc. They loved it
