Baby being sick but not poorly

Little one seems to be being sick quite a lot lately. Not in a pattern of being "poorly", if that makes sense.

He is fine in himself but when he's having his bedtime bottle, he'll start coughing and be sick and this will also bring his dinner up.

Just now he was sick in the middle of eating dinner.

He is coming up to 10 months old and is eating three meals a day. He also drinks formula

My 18mo did this last week. Just tidy them up, wash up and move on. It stops after a while!
Probably a little bug.

Mine did this at bedtime when she had eaten too much (often when she had a lot of air in her stomach). Is it possible he’s eating loads at dinner and then having too much milk after?

It's funny you should mention that actually as he been struggling lots with trapped wind during the night.

How did you help? Just feeding less?

My DS had this, absolutely fine in himself. But would projectile vomit everywhere at random times.

He did this for a good week & a half before it stopped.

When mine was younger he would regularly vomit if he coughed too much, especially when lying down. He would quite often cough and vomit in his sleep, not wake up or cry or otherwise give any indication he'd done it (I'd hear the coughing but nothing else) and then I'd go in in the morning to a toddler with dried vomit in his hair which was delightful to deal with at 6am!

Appears common then?!

I'm not worried in general as like I say, he's fine. Just the being sick and the wind at night which is causing him pain :(

We are having exactly this at the moment, about once a week. The last two times I realised she hadn't pooed that day, so I'm wondering if she's just bunged up and can't digest her dinner? She's sick as soon as she starts her bedtime milk and all her dinner comes up, but she doesn't seem poorly at all.

One of mine vomited constantly until I found the magical remedy- slippery elm powder. You mix a little bit with warm water to make a paste-type consistency, then feed it to them on a spoon. 2-3 times a day. Bingo. After 3 days, the vomiting stopped. (This was a baby who threw up constantly from birth)

The powder keeps for ages. You can make it into a tea for adults, whatever you like really.

I thoroughly agree, have this checked with your HV at least, if not your GP. It's quite possible to explain away all these symptoms as perfectly normal but it's worth getting ds checked out.
