Hi, can anybody recommend the best sunscream to use on my one year old? We are going to Spain next month. He has sensitive skin.

I like the boots own brand, think it’s called soltan. They do a spray which is easier than trying to rub cream onto a wriggly baby that’s trying to crawl away. They usually have it on a 3 for 2 offer as it gets warmer, and you get your points too!

Make sure whatever you get has 5 star UV protection some of the brands don’t.

I use Aldi, it has 5 star protection and last years which tests showed that it was actually factor 50 as some sucreams are not the strength they claim to be. My little one has reacted with other some creams but not Aldi.

Try which ever you are using before holiday first (you will need it anyway) to check for reaction.

Primark has 5 star uva protection too. Unlike the Nivea DM picked up which only had 3 stars and was 4 times the price!

Soltan hypoallergenic always worked well for us. Used since quite little as spring baby.

Thank you for the tips and recommendations x

My second youngest DD has had terrible reactions to a number of suncreams since she was a baby. Have found that Ultrasun is the best one.
