We just got a new car and we need to buy new car seats for our DS who is 8 and very tall. He’s not here atm and I don’t have his measurements to hand but he’s one of the 4-5 tallest in his year of 60 children. I’d like to keep him in a high back booster as long as possible. So far he’s not concerned with what other kids think but I’m sure that will come. 
Is there any reason I shouldn’t keep him in a HBB, assuming it fits him properly?
And can anyone recommend a HBB that will accommodate a very tall child as long as possible? He is quite thin, but solid. Also, I’d like to get a seat where the back comes off so I don’t have to buy something else when the time comes. Thank you 😊
