My son is 7 weeks EBF and the only way to settle him is to sling him or give him an ounce of EBM after being attached to the breast for literally hours.
Holding him is not sufficient, has to be tied tightly in the sling. Oh and only by me. If my husband hold him he screams.
If I put him down, the most he'll go is 5 minutes before screaming or waking of he was asleep.
A couple of weeks ago he'd happily lay naked kicking his legs for 15 minutes.
He's had EBM as he's nipple feeding owing to an inability to latch because of an incredibly high palete. I hate BF him as it's so painful. I was allowing him to feed constantly, but my nipples are sxrewed and he now settles in the sling.
What can I do? He literally would be on the breast all day. He's no longer settled. Why the change in nature. He used to so laid back.
