Baby behaving differently - 11 weeks

My DS is 11 weeks old, he's always been a very vocal baby - shouting and squeeling and cooing to himself constantly, especially in the morning when he wakes up. He's also very smiley and very happy to interact with people and look at their faces. Last week he started laughing too.

This week he seems withdrawn, he isn't making much eye contact with me and smiles are like getting blood from a stone. He's also seemed really sleepy - sleeping away a lot of the day. At night he keeps waking himself up crying out but when I check on him he's gone back to sleep. He's also REALLY wriggly in his cot when he's semi asleep.

Do you think he's just working on other milestones right now, or should I be worried? he hasn't got a temp or anything like that.

They do go through different phases but if you're at all concerned do get him checked out by the GP, they won't ever mind seeing a baby.

I would probably get him checked out just to be on the safe side, never ignore your intuition if you have concerns about your child's health! Chances are it's nothing but you will feel better if a doctor reassures you, I'm sure.

I'd talk to your health visitor or GP - even just to put your mind at rest.

I bet you my house there's nothing wrong - but do speak to HV of GP.

They are all over the shop at that stage as is DD at 4.5 just think of the amount of growing/development they're going through.

Have you got the wonder weeks app? I found it really helpful.
