Is baby safe in cot?!

My DD is 9mo & now crawling/pulling up to stand & taking a few steps. I've moved her cot down a level so she can't topple out when she stands but now I've started worrying she's gonna fall back & whack her head off the cot side! Blush am I being neurotic?!

Chances are she will fall and hit her head at some stage, mine has, but she'll be fine. I'm guessing she's fairly new to standing, but the next few months will be full of bumps and scrapes as she learns to walk. All you can do is stop her really hurting herself!

Thanks for your replies. Yes she's just started & is very wobbly but very confident!! I know she's gonna have a few injuries but I think I'm just gonna have to take the risk with the cot. Don't have much choice really! Blush
