Baby TV

Morning.
I'm a new mother of a lovely 9 week old boy. I've learnt pretty quickly to throw out any expectations I had about what you "should" do and to not judge myself or others too harshly as...even at 34 years old this is pretty tough and we all need a break.
That being said I've thought that when it comes to it I'm likely to be a parent that limits screen time. But I did think I wouldn't have to think about it for a while. Sitting here this morning after a particularly sleepless night watching some mindless comedy whilst feeding DS- and I notice he's mesmerized by the screen. Do I need to start now/not watching tv whilst feeding?
Or am I being overly worried?
Thanks

Don’t worry. Unless you go completely tech free for the duration of his childhood, he’s going to see screens! As long as he also plays, is read to, sung to, taken out and not just plonked in front of the box and left to it, it’s fine! And it sounds like you’re not the type of mummy to do that anyway. You’re doing fine. Now enjoy your mindless comedy.

I've just positioned my 10 week baby facing the tv so i can eat dinner before putting her to bed! She's looking at all the flashingblights.

I watch a lot of tv at home so she will as well
