New Pampers With Air Channels

Anyone else had issues with the new Pampers nappies with Air Channels? They've changed the entire range and the Baby Dry AND the Premium Protection ones have all leaked hideously. I've been using Pampers for the best part of four years with my children and they've always been reliable until now.

Please tell me it's not just me that this has happened to? Pampers were always my faves for my kids and now I can't use them anymore Confused

Feel free to share nappy recommendations as I can't face testing out loads.

same here(. the new ones are Air Channels and they have purple dotted stripes. The quality is terrible, no better than cheap supermarket ones. Their only advantage is an even distribution of liquid. Not sure what to в
buy now. Former brilliant Magic Pods are out of stock where I live.

same here. I've got a pack left over from two years ago when my first son was in nappies and I'm saving them for overnights as I can't find any other brand that doesn't leak.

It's SO annoying, I really hope they change them back as judging from the comments on social media they're going to be losing a large number of customers due to these rubbish Air Channel ones.

Same problem here!! Leak after leak during the night. I've got a pack of the old version I'm keeping for night times now and using the air pocket ones during the day. I'm dreading the search for another brand now. I really hope pampers switch back!!

I've not seen the new ones, I buy the Pampers pants, could they work? I've got it a new pack here bought this week and they haven't changed. Otherwise Lidl are My second favourite brand.

I used pampers dc1

Dc2 discovered Sainsbury’s own brand

Haven’t looked back

HabbyHadno · 24/04/2018 22:38

They've changed the entire range so even the pants have the crappy air channels. I've been obsessively doing a bit of research on alternative nappies and so far Lidl are as close a match to the old-style Pampers before the air channels were introduced. And they're only £2.99 a pack, so quite the price difference.

I am not sure their pants have new Air Channels, I did not see this on the package.

Dashie · 25/04/2018 14:22

Yes! I thought DD needed a bigger size because she was constantly soaking through. Then found a pack of the old style: no leaks!
And it's completely soaking few clothes, not just a little at the sides.
I've used pampers for both DC as previously so reliable but looking for other options now.

Charl024 · 25/04/2018 14:33

Doesnt look like the active fit and premium protection have got the dreaded 'air channel's nor have the pampers nappy pants! Just discovered this so going to give those a try...

HabbyHadno · 25/04/2018 19:58

The Premium Protection definitely has the air channels. They've just been sneaky and popped the logo on the side of the pack and not the front.

I fell foul to this error too and only realised when I got home, so check the whole pack for the air channels logo. Confused

Having issues as well. Just bought 4 packs (whyyyyy???) and every other one leaks.

I'll try to find packs without the dreaded "Air channel" logo. Any recommendations for other nappies? Are Huggies any good?

We were all REALLY comfortable with Pampers, and this is pissing me off (no pun intended).

HabbyHadno · 30/04/2018 21:37

Same here, I've almost taken it personally Hmm I thought we'd found success with the Lidl Lupilu ones, but the baby has started to get nappy rash after using them for a week and he's never had a hint of it before (with the old Pampers). I'm truly stumped.

Aldi, boots, Sainsburys, Asda little angels are all well rated alternatives. It's trial and error though. Just buy 1 small pack to try first and see which suits baby. Asda ones suited my daughter (now 5yo)

Argh! Its such a pain Pampers have changed!

eugenia11 · 01/05/2018 07:04

Oh my!!! bought expensive Premium protection ones to realise that they are also Air Channels (small print on the back of the package). Strangely, they stay dry at night, same level as old regular Pampers (at least on my 2 bums)
