Hi, I maybe massively overreacting but I'd appreciate some advice

My daughter is 9 years old. She is developing, not overly but signs of breasts are there

The last couple of weeks I've noticed that she is getting to odd red spot on her face - they aren't filled, just raised red spots that take a few days to calm down. She has woken up with a big angry one by her eye.

Do you think this could be the start of the "spot" phase and if so, what would be the best course of action? It seems so unfair to go through this so early. It does seem WAY too early though, so maybe something else?

Sorry for the rambling but I'm a single parent and I internalise a lot! Thanks

At this age I’d just make sure that she washes her face each day and her hair fairly regularly.

Have you got her any books on her changing body OP?

There is also a good Preteen section on MN if you want to chat to some other MNers (like me) who have DDs going through this Smile
