Anyone feel like a climbing frame?

Any tips on getting a boisterous 2 year old to tone it down a bit? She leaps over me, constantly enthusiastically cuddles and grabs and wants to sit on me, and basically wants to be attached to me at all times which would be fine except she doesn’t sit still. Particularly struggling this week as have a bad back, so the sharp little elbows and knees are even more noticeable! I tell her to be gentle but she only remembers for about 20 seconds. Is it just a stage?

You'll miss it when it stops! It's just a stage they go through, I'd give anything to have mine be like that now Sad even though I was like you at the time wanting it to stop! Hopefully I'll have grandkids soon who can climb me Grin

Yeah my two both do it, 1.5 and 3.5yo. Oldest knows she’s not meant to clamber about but she does anyway. On bad days I end up shouting which is pretty rubbish of me

No suggestions but it reminds me of the phase DD went through where she would sit on my lap then slide down my outstretched legs. I used to complain the Mummy was not a slide. Naturally this meant she shouted "Mummy not a slide!" as she gleefully slid down every time after that. then climbed back and did it over and over again
