Anyone rather be at work?

I'm on school holidays with my DS14, SDS14 and DD8. The weather is shit. I'm bored. They're bored. I have little cash to do things with them and even if I did they wouldn't all want to do the same thing. I suggested a trip to the park this morning but they all groaned like it was the worst idea ever. I feel so fed up and would rather be at work.

On maternity leave with a ten month old and YES if I could have brought my return date earlier I would have.

At times yes, at times I'd rather be with them then any work and I'm my own boss too. Not sure what that says about me.

Surely the only one that needs entertaining should be the eight year old, but even they should be able to entertain themselves a little by now?

No no no. I'm at work now and would far rather be home with my teenage DC! Would rather have stayed home with them when younger too but had to start earning again eventually

I have a 10 week old and I'm already dreaming of the day I go back to work... and then I feel really guilty. Its not that I don't want to spend time with my baby, I just feel like thats ALL I do.

Well we got to the park and actually they all had fun. Older 2 out on bikes now and littlest playing in her room. Not the hellish day I thought it would be.
