Smoking in car with child

😡😡😡😡

After advise please.

My 11 yr old son had time off school due to illness and ended up going to work with my OH, after dropping my daughter off at school my OH lit up a cigerette in the car. My son absuletly hates smoking and didn’t want to say anything to my OH as he quite touchy, anyway he told me and I questioned him he made out that it was just habit of dropping daughter off and sparking one up ( which I know is lie). My OH takes the kids to his work in school holidays (family run business so he can get away with it and they don’t do much really) anyway just happened to ask my 4 year old if daddy smokes in car with her, and her response was “yes but he has window down” obviously I was fuming, spoke to him and he tried to say the car was stationary which I responded saying don’t care if car was moving or not it is illegal and he should think of our child’s health. He now saying sorry card must try harder etc etc. I’m just so mad and don’t know what to do as I know he just going to carry on.

Does he know it's illegal?

But your outrage is only half justified considering you're perfectly ok with him driving them in a car he smokes in. Everything will stink of smoke .
