Questions for parents

Hi everyone hope you are all having a great day, my name is Ben and I'm currently studying design at Goldsmiths university in London. I am currently researching about the psychological effects toys and dolls can have on children and want to gather information from parents, I thought this would be the best place, I have a few questions to ask everyone, I hope you don't mind :)

  1. Would you as a parent, give your child a toy that increased the chances of them following the same political views as yourself?
  1. Have you noticed any changes in your child's behaviour or language after being introduced to a particular toy?
  1. Are there any toys you have thought twice about giving to your child or have you seen any toys that you wouldn't want your children playing with?
  1. What are your views on toy guns? If your children play with toy guns, do you notice any changes in their behaviour?
  1. Do you think children understand the consequences of firing a real weapon?
  1. Do you think propaganda exists within children's toys, dolls, books and TV shows at all? If so, what views are trying to be informed?
  1. Can you connect any of your interests or talents as an adult, with a toy from your childhood?

I do appreciate this is probably not what this site is generally used for and apologise if i have posted in the wrong place.

Thank you for your time, I look forward to reading your veiws and experiences, please be honest and considered when answering.

Peace.
