Hi MNers

Looking for any advice on possibly spacing out feeds for my my formula fed 9 week old as I feel like he's eating too often and not sure what the best approach is!

He has been taking between 5 and 6oz every 3 hours but is now often looking for his bottle after 2 hours - to me this seems too frequent...or is this "normal"

Should I try giving him an extra oz (if he'll take it) to keep him fuller for longer and space out his feeds?!

Also he has a very unsettled / colicky hour in the evening where he's very cranky and bringing up lots of mucus wind - any recommendations on something to help bring it all up? Anyone use cool boiled water at this age?

Thanks in advance for your help /suggestions Thanks

Does he finish every bottle? If so, definitely offer more. Ideally offer enough that he doesn't finish it about half the time.

If he isn't being sick after feeds because he's eaten so much, then I'd say it's normal. But if he's draining every bottle, it could just be he's hungry and needs more per feed.
