Interfering mother in law!

Anyone else have a mil like this? Mine is driving me mad at the moment infact from the minute my son was born 3 months ago! Always giving her opinion, trying to take over and just being very judgmental! There's been times when I have to leave the room discreetly as she was drives me bloody up the wall! My partner has spoken to her about certain things but it goes over her head! Sorry I needed to vent! X

If your DP has said something and she's still not listening, it needs to come from you. My MIL was always offering unsolicited opinions and advice, especially about me continuing to breastfeed and cosleep (I still do both, ds is 2.5). Drove me potty. I ended up asking her how my choices affected her which made her realise they don't, and that it's none of her business. Since then, she's thankfully kept her opinions to herself.

Your absolutely right. If she continues then I will need too! She's always something to say on whatever me and my partner do. She's always like is he too warm for going outside...makes me feel absolutely stupid at times.
