Did your boobs get smaller when you stopped BF?

Just that really... always had big boobs but am hoping they'll shrink down when I stop breastfeeding! Have lost weight but it's really hard to tell when my boobs are SO big! Sad getting me down... really hoping DD does inherit these puppies! 😂

Yes.. except I was gutted as had had got from a B to a D cup and
Then back down to B :(

DinoSn0re · 31/03/2018 20:51

No Blush though I wish they had! Was a G cup beforehand, after two years of breastfeeding I’m still the same size.

elspinsdemariscal · 31/03/2018 20:51

Nope, mine were big in the first place and now they're a size bigger.

Mine were pretty petite before BF and now they are pretty much non existent.
However other people’s seem to have grown bigger, it’s not fair!!

Rach000 · 31/03/2018 20:56

Mine went quite a bit smaller after I finished breast feeding my first. But they are now bigger again as breast feeding my second now. They have been lots of different sizes over the past few years but would say mine went smaller.
Can't wait till they stay at one size and I can get some nice bras that aren't breast feeding ones or the comfy ones I had to wear when pregnant!! Sorry know that's irrelevant..

Anxiouschild · 31/03/2018 20:56

Mine went down whilst still bf once milk production had settled down. It started when DCs were 3mo-ish and by 6mo they were back at normal size but sadly a very different shape . A shame as DH and I both quite liked the DDs!

LoniceraJaponica · 31/03/2018 20:58

No, but they didn't grow either Sad. I'm the same size as before I got pregnant 32B (34A pre MN intervention)

It isn't fair is it Pinkponiesrock

VinoEsmeralda · 31/03/2018 20:58

Thank heavens mine went down! Bf size H and when i stopped a E/ F Cup.

4yoniD · 31/03/2018 21:00

Pre children I was dd-cup and they were big enough to get in the way. Spent 5 yrs bf'ing 2 kids . A few years on and they are smallish c cups. Part of me is disappointed but mainly it's good as all tops fit, shirts do up nicely, and I can run without getting a black eye!

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 31/03/2018 21:00

No, not smaller. They definitely shrank post BF but after BF’ing 3 DC they are a different shape and saggy. Did their job though so it’s all good.

Mumlife101 · 31/03/2018 21:07

It seems the ladies who'd like them to stay bigger go smaller & the ladies who'd like them smaller stay bigger!! If that isn't Sod's law what is?! I honestly don't even know what size I am anymore I think when I was pregnant & fitted for a maternity bra I was an E. They are so saggy now @dailymail!! My sweet little 12 year old sister told me the other day how saggy my boobs were! & when told by our dad it was rude she said I was just telling the truth!! 😂😂 Little brd!! Are there bras out there too make your boobs appear smaller anyone know??!

I breastfed continously for nearly nine years. I started out as 32D, went up to 34H at one point, and am now 32D again but saggy. Am pretty sure it isn't breastfeeding that made me saggy, just age and the perimenopause.

Mumlife101 · 31/03/2018 21:16

Wow tinwhistle 9 years breastfeeding!! You are one inspiring mama...

SheepyFun · 31/03/2018 21:25

I'm below my pre-pregnancy weight now (just!), but with similar sized breasts (F cup). I was a G cup for a while after feeding - it's taken 4 years to get down (!) to this.

Now I just need to persuade my stomach back to its pre-pregnancy state. I suspect that isn't going to happen....

Justwaitingforaline · 31/03/2018 21:30

Smaller. But have settled 3 years on!

Pre pregnancy : DD
Pregnancy and BFing: G
Post breastfeeding: small Bs which resembled snooker balls in socks Flowers

3.5 years later : totally reinflated and a DD

Mumlife101 · 31/03/2018 21:33

Lol!!
You totally just described my breasts except they're more like footballs in Christmas stockings

No. Stated as a DD. Became an E overnight when I fell pregnant. Became an F when baby was born. Dropped back to an E after a bit. Have more or less stayed the same now that u am no longer breastfeeding.

WallisFrizz · 31/03/2018 21:36

Mine are bigger and not just due to a bit of a weight increase after 2dc. I miss my 34bs. At least they’re not saggy I suppose.

bellsbuss · 31/03/2018 21:36

No I've gone from 32DD to 32F but I'm 7lbs lighter than before pregnancy so very happy

Doh9899 · 31/03/2018 21:47

Was a G. Went up when breast feeding and now have shrunk to a DD. Gutted

blinkineckmum · 01/04/2018 02:26

From C to E to A.

windchimesabotage · 01/04/2018 02:33

yes but not in a good way. They ended up like two deflated balloons, just hanging skin. Went up to a C cup then back down to an A cup.

Lweji · 01/04/2018 02:43

After balooning during pregnancy and the first few months after birth they did deflate, but after one year breastfeeding and 12 years on from the end, they're still growing.
I got a 30 D at some point after
breastfeeding and just bought a 28 FF.

Foggymist · 01/04/2018 09:17

Mine lost juuust enough volume to mean size 12 shirts close on me for the first time in my adult life, yay! Stayed a DD during pregnancy, never changed size during breastfeeding they just got fuller, stayed the same size when ds1 stopped at 2 years but like I said lost just the perfect amount of volume. Breastfeeding ds2 now, he feeds a lot less so they're never as full as they were last time, they look the same as ever.

moita · 02/04/2018 15:05

Yes! A bit softer but went back to a C cup.
