Toddler swimming sessions - Puddleducks or Waterbabies?

Hello!

I would like to take my 15 month swimming and just wondered if anyone had any experience of either Puddle Ducks or Waterbabies?

I can't see much in it looking at the websites but just wondered what opinions other people had?

Thanks

I found Waterbabies very expensive and the standard of facilities varies wildly. I now take my toddler to lessons at a local independent baby swim school for £6 less per lesson and the program is of equal quality.

I should have said that we did 1 term with Waterbabies but left after that as the pool facilities were so poor.

We went to puddleducks and found them very good but expensive. The main benefit really was the sessions were in a hydrotherapy pool so the little ones didn't get cold. I don't think I would have paid for the lessons at a normal temp pool which they do also use as you could do everything they do in the lessons yourself for a fraction of the cost.

I looked at both but ultimately decided on lessons at our local leisure centre. It’s a fraction of the price, we are in a lovely warm baby pool with a great coach and there are 6 in the class. When I looked into it I couldn’t really see any difference although I accept that this will depend on the pool/your local facilities. My son is 2.2 and loves his swimming lessons!

We did Waterbabies which was brilliant but unfortunately loads of lessons got cancelled as the pool temperature was often too low - left at the end of last term as only ended up having 2 lessons out of 6 because of this. Now going to Puddleducks which is at the hospital hydrotherapy pool but I do actually think the Waterbabies lessons were better. Couldn't go this week though as the lesson was cancelled because the pool was too cold...,😩
