Coldsore?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if their children have had cold sores before?

My son is 9 months old and this red mark has been the exact same since yesterday morning. He has a runny nose so I'm constantly wiping it.

Not sure if it's a scratch or a coldsore?

Sorry to say, it could be a coldsore. Do you get them?
I too gave the coldsore gene to my DS. If you have some Zovirax, put it on it and see if it drys up.

I get really bad ones yes but not had it for a long time. His nose keeps running (badly lol like a well) and because it's running anything I would put on the coldsore would be wiped back off :(

Most kids get HSV at some point in the first few years, so yes, it could be. My dd has had them. They do heal on their own, so nothing really you need to do about it.
