I am a mum to a 10 month old girl and it’s only now that I have chance to reflect on these last months. I’m looking back at the photos in disbelief that she was really that small. I can barely remember to be honest... as it was such a blur!

It’s got me thinking... how did you manage in those first few months? Any top tips? Funny anecdotes? Life saving products? Life saving people?

For me, caffeine was my new best friend, the baby carrier had a 100% hit rate in settling a meltdown and, should that fail, my child expert best friend told me ‘boob, burp, change of scenery’ will almost always work... she wasn’t wrong.

Tell me... I’d love to hear from you.

I couldn't have been without my rocking chair for my colicky baby. It calmed us both down when we needed it. Sling was a life saver at times, though my baby was resistant to it sometimes.
