Can anyone help with 'jelly' in nappy?!

DD is 2 weeks old, formula fed and generally feeding well. We've just started her on infacol for wind as she seems to be uncomfortable at night and we're waiting for it to kick in. Since passing her meconium her poos have always been yellow and seedy, and she poos at almost every feed. She had some mucus at birth due to a very fast birth so her poos have been a bit mucusy.
Today whilst I was changing her nappy she pushed like she was going to do a poo and a yellow bubble came out of her bum, a bit like a snot bubble? I wiped it away and nothing else came out. But when I changed her nappy a couple of hours later there was like a small piece of yellowy greeny jelly in it? No poo just wee and this jelly, the only way i could describe it is like a bogey? (i should have taken a photo).
Anyone got any ideas?!

Could be mucus still that’s been hanging around a while

Sounds like mucous to me.

Thats what i thought originally but shouldn't all her mucus have gone by 2 weeks? There didn't seem to be loads and loads when she was born

It could hang about I guess. Does she have a runny nose or signs of a cold? Could be mucus from something like that too

She's always been a bit snuffly but i wouldn't say snotty/mucusy. Her poos have now gone more mucusy in the last couple of days, was wondering about some kind of intolerance but surely she'd be uncomfortable after every feed if she wasn't tolerating it?

YEah usually you would see a rash and discomfort?
Have you spoken with your health visitor?

cliffdiver · 25/03/2018 21:56

Both DDs had this and were diagnosed with CMP allergy/intolerance - speak to your midwife and with their guidance try cutting out dairy from your diet if BFing.

Yeah I've spoken to HV over the phone and she didn't seem too concerned she just said poos change and not to worry if she's ok in herself. I've just posted a pic on a new thread of her nappy this morning
