Trapped wind at night - please give me some tips!

DD is 2 weeks old, has always bottle fed 4 hourly like an absolute dream, slept well in between and has given me and DP a decent nights sleep. But the last couple of days she's been screaming when we put her down in the evening and today it's been most of the day. Her tummy gurgles like mad when she starts taking her milk, and she does bring up wind reasonably well, but when we put her down she screams and pulls up her legs. She poos every feed and poos are normal. We've just started infacol so need to give it a chance to work but just trying to be prepared in what else we could try.
I've just read about not winding her during the feed and waiting until the end which I've not tried so will give that a go too.
I don't know what the success rate of dr browns bottles are? That was my next plan but don't want to buy any if not needed.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated, breaks my heart seeing her in pain!

Infacol worked well for us. Other people I know loved dr brown bottles too. Good luck.

Our DD is 3 weeks and has been like this since day 3, we’ve found that MAM bottles with the newborn tears and infacol at every feed helps and then on a night I give her half a measure of dentinox which seems to get everything up. It did take a good week for the infacol to work though - we’ve tried the Dr Browns bottles and she just doesn’t like them.

Mam bottles, infacol, bicycle pumps and time. My little one had awful farts and couldn't get them out by himself for months. Me or his dad would "fart" him every time we changed a nappy and randomly throughout the day by doing the bicycle legs and gently pushing them on his belly. There is a good video online of a lady doing it to her daughter.
But in all honesty he grunted and squirmed especially at night for months. Completely went away at about 12 weeks and he now pushes his own farts out!

You could also try baby massage. The sun and moon strokes as well as cycling the legs and pushing both legs together (knees bent) up to their tummy also helped mine as it would help the gas to expel.

My ds will be three weeks old tomorrow and sounds very similar to your post.. He is bf but the past couple of days cries as soon as he is put down.. Not always easy to get burps up and can feel his wee tummy gurgling as he feeds.
We haven't tried the infancol yet although are tempted to try it..

We had this, we used Infacol which worked for a week or so then stopped working.

GP prescribed gaviscon and its made a hell of a difference
