Dd 8 months has chest infection and is on antibiotics 3 times a day.
Her temperature is 38,4 at moment and I need to give her calpol. She's just had her bottle as well and was trying to give her syringe during feeding but couldn't and her lips just sealed shut now I am struggling with it! What do I do? Do I still give it to her? She's spark out and Iam trying to cool the room as she's in her bag 2,5 tog.

You could have put it in the milk. Will she dream feed? You could put it in the milk and try.

We were told to take all clothes, except nappy, off DS to cool him down. Just a thin sheet over.

Ah right, my son didn't know any better at that age.

Hope you can manage to either get calpol in or the temp comes down with keeping her cool.

Lol you're lucky.
She's learnt what taste it is in the last couple of weeks - teething!
I've stripped her down, room is cool just now braving it .. she's so chatty and happy as well and Iam just about to make her cry with bloody syringe.

I'd leave her if she is asleep. Its main purpose is to manage discomfort.

Done! Phew
Now monitor!
