Wonder if anyone can give me some advice?

My daughter is 3 months old and is becoming more and more clingy towards me, to the point that if anyone else holds her she almost immediately starts screaming.

This happens with her dad as well as grandparents (except my mum funnily enough).

I don't know what to do as its very frustrating for my husband but it also means I dont get a break!

Its not for lack of trying as I regularly try to leave her with others but obviously I am her main carer so she is very attached to me.

I'm husband works Monday to Friday but does the feeds, nappy changes and bath times when he's home in the evening.

If anyone has any ideas or tips for getting over this we would be very grateful! Smile

My main tip would be not to try and force it. If she wants you, she wants you. It’s not for long.

3-4 months is a massive developmental leap. What shes doing is really normal, she is learning so much about the world at the moment sometimes extra things/ people are over whelming. Just give her lots of cuddles and reassurance.

Have a look online about leaps, it may help you understand her behaviour and sleep patterns x
