DS (3) Regressing? - wetting pants - New baby due

Poor old DS1 who has never shared Mummy before, is slowly getting used to the idea of DS2 who is due in 4 - 5 weeks. The last couple of weeks he's started weeing in his pants / trousers, once at preschool, and a couple of times at home. I asked him just now why he'd done it (he hadn't even mentioned it till I saw the wet patch!) and he said it 'feels nice'
I'm suspecting this is a sort of 'I'm a baby too' thing going on, but is there a protocol to gently get him to stop it? It doesn't bother me too much but I'm afraid Preschool might make a deal out of it or ask us to stop him attending until he's relearnt to use the loo!
He's been a good toilet user for at least a year now, and is nearly four.
Any advice appreciated!

i cant imagagine any preschool asking a 3 year old (or even a 4 year old) to leave cause he has an occasional 'accident'

if they did i dont think they would any children at all attending.

im sure he will just stiop doing it if you dont make a fuss... and ensure when he has accident he goes into the toilet to finish his wee, he removes his wet pants, he puts them in the wash bin, he puts new pants on he goes back into the loo to wash hands...

it soon becomes easier for them to just use the loo in the 1st place

Thankyou Nanny. That's very good advice - and reassuring. Just was afraid he might start doing it as a regular thing, as he's aware he's doing it so not exactly an 'accident'!
