Me again! I posted a thread back when DS was a few weeks old due to a spotty rash (turns out it was just baby acneBlush) and I'm in a similar situation now!

However DS is 6 months old in a couple of weeks. On Sunday he suddenly developed a bad rash on his tummy that spread over his back, arms, neck and head. We took him to A&E to be safe and they said it was just a virus, thankfully. He is fine in himself but has gone off his bottles and is more sleepy than usual.

I noticed this morning his eyes are seriously gunky. Ends up with yellow gunk which I'm having to wipe with boiled salt water nearly every couple of hours! He is also quite grouchy today - just finally got him to nap and noticed his cheeks have flared right up. Do you think I should book another appointment or am I being over cautious?! I'm a first time Mum so don't want to waste the Doctors time if I'm just being OTT!

There is nothing that can be done for slapped cheek as it's a virus and goes away on its own, just maybe dangerous to pregnant people really. It doesn't look like it is to me but if you're worried don't hesitate to see your GP Smile
