DD1 is slightly chunky on the old legs and the MEOS are getting too small. She is only 16mths so is this a normal stage before she thins out or is it going to get worse?? Cant really afford to replace all my nappies and she only has a small waist despite the legs.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I got rid of my meos and size 2 nappies because I thought ds was outgrowing them at 13 months, I wish I hadn't he very quickly slimmed down (didn't lose weight, but his shape changed) very soon after so all the size 3 stuff I'd bought became far too big and I had to buy size 2 stuff again. Is your dd walking yet?

Nemo2007 · 07/05/2007 12:35

tutu she has been walking for about 4mths but her legs have also been quite big, I just remember DS starting to slim down at around 18mths.

Not sure what to do then. If you'd said she wasn't walking yet then I'd have said definaetly keep hold of them but as she's been walking for a while I don't know. My ds slimmed down within a few months of learning to walk. Possibly to tide you over there is a seller on ebay selling size 3 seconds nappies. There are tots bots style, but not tots bots. I bought some for ds and they are fine I haven't actually found anything wrong with them. They are quite big round the waist, but they have a cross over tab. I paid £12 for mine and £4.64 postage and I think they were a bargain. If you search toddler nappies they should come up. I think there is a good chance that her shape will still change and the motherease will fit better again though. Sorry I probably haven't helped much. But I know what you mean about needing bigger nappies but not having the money to replace them.

you can buy extenders specially made for meos. can't find them online to show you but i know butterfly-babies.co.uk stock them even though they're not listed on the site. try giving them a ring.
