Totally panicked (have calmed down now, situation over) don't think he ate any, only 5 missing from the pot which we have since found out is not toxic to a child but what a scare and what absolutely crap parents we are currently feeling

Pah

When you find him eating compost and you have to call the toxicology unit in London, then you can start crap parent threads.

LGJ wanders off muttering about bleedin lightweights....

McDreamy · 06/05/2007 10:46

I knew someone would be able to make me smile - thanks LGJ

when your dd shoves toothpaste into her ear and have to try not to laugh at a+e, but then they start to call posions unit then worry about parenting

theUrbanDryad · 06/05/2007 10:50

yeah - she was fine! we rang NHS Direct in a panic and they said to keep an eye on her, but she didn't show any signs of having taken them at all. in fact, if she hadn't come and showed me the empty packet we'd never have known....

multi-vitamins might make his wee smell bad though, be warned!

McDreamy · 06/05/2007 10:50

Oh I'll watch out for the, glad she was ok.

DH is a GP and I'm a nurse so we were able to access the poisons unit ourselves and work out the mgs per kg! Thank you for your concern though Christie just waiting for his next adventure!!! DD was never like this

Well that's reassuring (although I'm not sure he's got the genes to be that tall regardless of vitamin intake ]
