Anti reflux milk and the shits!

Hi all! Me again with the dreaded reflux
Changed my little one (seven weeks old) over to hipp organic anti reflux on Wednesday. Doctor said I can start him straight on it and that there was no need to introduce it slowly. Anyway, my little boy now has the poops!
Shall I change him back to regular milk and use the ranitidine prescribed? Doctor said to try him just on anti reflux milk for s few days then use the ranitidine if needed.
The poos are grim, pungent smelling, one spilled out the top and sides of his nappy today. I’ve put him on number two nappies for tonight to hopefully contain the explosion!
Has anyone else experienced this? Also, I’m struggling to now bring wind up. He was on colief but doctor said stop as no need for it. Shall I put him back on it as will this help bring up wind?

Taken little one off the anti reflux milk, he’s been on it since Tuesday and the reflux has been great. But he’s had the poops really badly, showing no signs of them going. He screams when he’s having a poop too. I’ve also noticed since being on the milk that he’s been having less.
Anyway, I’ve just had a screaming fit and very distressed baby so have decided to go back onto his hipp organic but give the ranitidine a try. Fingers crossed!
