Baby No 2!

Hi all!

We found out this weekend that we are expecting baby number 2 - a little earlier than planned but we are over the moon!

My question is this - DS will be 21 months when baby arrives so my question is will I need to buy a double pram?

I currently have an icandy peach which I love, but I won’t be looking to make that into a double if needs be.

Just wondered whether I’d need a double or not? This may be a stupid question but I’ve never been a mum to a 21 month old and a newborn before!

Thank you for your help

I had a 21 month gap and absolutely needed a double! I already had the Uppababy Vista so we bought the adapters and seat so that it could be a tandem.

They're 14 months and almost 3 now and although we haven't used it very much as a tandem over the last few months, when we've needed to, we've really needed to!! I think we might get a buggy board for DD now but she definitely would have been far too young not to have a seat when DS was under 1.

I had 15 months between my first two, so had a double buggy, but remember that by the time DS1 was 22 months and Ds2 was 7 months I was only using a single stroller with buggy board. I would try and manage with a pushchair/sling then pushchair/buggy board.

We have a 2 year gap and used our double loads. And actually only stopped using it in the past 6 months or so and DS is 19months now.

Much easier to be able to restrain them both
