Best things to shop for while in the US

I’m going to be in Manhattan for a day - are there any US baby brands people love that you can’t get here? I’m 25 weeks pregnant with my first so still working out what I need but don’t want to miss an opportunity to pick up a bargain :)

Honestly, no, I don't think so. I'm American, living in the UK, and I've been back to the U.S. during both of my pregnancies and nothing really appealed to me to buy it there. Especially in Manhattan (I used to live there), things will be so expensive. If you are really into high end stuff, there are loads of very high end baby boutiques there were you could pick up something really unique, but short of that, I probably wouldn't go crazy.

I should add, I would enjoy a day for you, have an amazing lunch somewhere, see a show, etc. You won't get to indulge those kinds of luxuries soon and you definitely won't easily be able to travel, so I would enjoy it for yourself more than anything.

Nothing because the US is sooooo expensive due to exchange rate. I don't think you'll find anything at all cheaper that you can't order online and delivered to you for less.

The only thing we used to get people to bring over for us was Gerber's Yoghurt Melts. My daughter was fully addicted to them

Not necessarily cheaper, but Oshkosh striped dungarees www.oshkosh.com/oshkosh-toddler-boy-overalls/V_OB21114511.html are very, very sweet and hard to get here. Macy's will probably have them but if you're staying overnight, I'd order them online and have them sent to your hotel...

The only thing isn’t Garrett popcorn- I know I sound crazy but it is the most addictive popcorn ever!!! If I was eating for two again and in the US id buy loads of the stuff!!!

Second Carters and Janie and Jack but the exchange rate means you're not going to get a bargain.
The carters 3 piece sets are so cute. As an aside if anyone in the U.K. Is near a Costco, they often have Carters things in.
