Hoping for some suggestions for things to do with my 6 month old

His dad is off work for 2 weeks so I'd love to take my little man somewhere fun as a family but I'm stuck on ideas.

I'm going to take him swimming. Is he too young to go to a farm? Any ideas welcome!!

I'm in Leicester if anyone knows of any fun gems local! TIA

Swimming is good, I’m afraid I don’t know Leicester but do you have a good soft play you could go to. We have one near us where under 2s are free as they just use the baby section (some lights, a ball pool etc)..Any baby sensory/ baby massage classes, sign up for trials during those weeks if you don’t want to continue. Tbh you can just go shopping, as long as you are talking and engaging with the little one doesn’t really matter what you do.

Swimming is great.

I took my son to the zoo when he was about this age but it was completely lost on him! I think he looked at a goat at one point but that was as interested as he got Grin We had some great photos though, and a lovely day out.

Some soft play places have baby areas that can be quite fun - lots of new toys for them to play with.

Do you have a local fb group? If you do, you might find lots of ideas for kids' events.

My DD is the same age and she loved the aquarium!
